The Regent Singapore | 16 January 2015
Hush was invited by Tsao Foundation to be part of their strategic planning prep activity on Day 2 of the First Multipartite Regional Meeting on the Financial Security of Older Women in East and Southeast Asia. Participants were senior policy makers, expert scholars and non-profit leaders across the region including Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
The intention with Hush was to give participants the opportunity to clear their minds and create space for creativity and new ideas before a critical strategic planning session as a group. Hush Founder, Anthea Ong who is also the President/Chair of WINGS (a women's group in Singapore), was part of the delegation. She shared that many of her fellow participants felt the Hush session was extremely helpful in helping them be open minded and hearted, and as a result, the planning session was very productive and insightful.
Several of the participants also had personal reflections during Hush... one of the senior policy makers from Malaysia noted that her daughters came to her mind and she realised that she had been so busy with her travels that she needed also to set aside time for her family.
We are delighted to be able to support such an important regional movement in our small way.
